PM Evolutions is officially NEXT MONTH!
We don’t like to be over-dramatic, but we can’t contain our excitement for next month in Las Vegas! From the keynote sessions (a few announced below) to the 100+ breakouts and panels, and of course the networking and parties…it’s going to be the best week for podcasters this spring!
Before we get started, did you see the finalists for The Ambies were announced this week? The ceremony will be hosted by Larry Wilmore, and it just so happens to be taking place in Vegas on the day that Evolutions kicks off! If you’ll be at Evolutions, keep an eye out for how you might be able to take part in the ceremony!
With that, we’ve got too much good stuff to get to, so let’s jump in.

Stephen A. Smith Debuts at Evolutions
Stephen A. Smith, the outspoken television personality and host of Know Mercy with Stephen A. Smith from Audacy’s Cadence13, will be joining us as a keynote speaker next month in Las Vegas.
Smith rose from a reporter on high school sports at the New York Daily News and a college and NBA beat reporter at the Philadelphia Inquirer to become the face of ESPN and its most important on-air personality. In addition to hosting Know Mercy, he is the star of the #1 morning sports talk show First Take; a premiere analyst on ESPN and ABC’s NBA Countdown; the host of NBA in Stephen A’s World on ESPN2 and ESPN+; and the New York Times Bestselling Author of Straight Shooter, A Memoir of Second Chances and First Takes.
We’ll have more information on this talk in the coming weeks, but if you know anything about Stephen, you know this will be one you won’t want to miss.
James Cridland Returns
One of the top sessions last year was James Cridland, Editor of Podnews.net, revealing his Podnews Report Card on the podcast industry. It was so well received, in fact, that we’re bringing James back to do it again!
Report Card Day was always a scary one growing up. Should podcasting be scared of what its grades will be? We’ll find out for sure at Evolutions next month!
Sixth Round of Evolutions Speakers

PM23 Speaker Applications Now Open
We are now accepting applications to speak at this year’s Podcast Movement on August 21-24 in Denver, Colorado!
You will be asked to submit a working title and description of your proposed session or panel, as well as information about yourself and your podcasting experience.
Keep in mind that last year we had over 700 submissions, and expect more this year. Applications close on March 17, so get to brainstorming and apply now!
Not sure if it’s those Vegas vibes, or just our good mood, but we’re feeling lucky this week, and are hopeful that means we’ll see YOU (YES YOU) next month!
